Corvette Stingrays are showing up on our streets in Detroit and fanning out across the country in waves of fair-priced American muscle. Are you sick of it yet? We didn't think so.
Meanwhile, over in Europe, the 'Vette is hanging out at the Dudenhofen test center in Rodgau, Germany, taking some hot laps in the caring hands of Chevrolet Europe's technical manager, Patrick Hermann.
Hermann gives us a short rundown of the Stingray, including his first impressions of the car, which will arrive in Europe in late 2013. You can see his enthusiasm for the newest generation even when discussing the fuel economy. He also talks about the rev-matching feature, controlled by the paddles on the steering wheel. When the automatic version arrives, we assume these will serve as the upshift and downshift buttons.
Hermann says he's done with the pre-preparation and will now be traveling around Europe.
